A Powers Lake Centennial cookbook is being planned. We are known for our great cooks     and for always serving excellent food at every occasion.  We would like you to submit your favorite recipes to make this the greatest cookbook ever.  Recipes can be submitted in honor of someone you admire, or in memory     of a friend/relative who is no longer living.   Please make copies of the attached recipe      form and mail your recipes to the following address:

  The recipes should be submitted by February     1, 2008.  For Powers Lake residents, recipes   can be dropped off at the Senior Citizens, the Country Store, or Lakeview Market.

Community  Club meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at the Community Hall

 Civic Club meets the First Thursday of the month at 7:00pm at the Senior Center

City Council meets First Monday of the month at 7:00pm at the City Hall

Fire Department meets the Second Monday of the month at 8:00pm at the fire hall

Ambulance Squad meets Third Monday at 7:30pm at the Fire Hall
