What is the garbage pick up schedule?
Garbage is picked up Friday mornings. The City of Powers Lake contracts out garbage services to Circle Sanitation out of Minot.
Do I need a permit to build a fence/deck?
All building projects need to have a building permit approved before construction can begin. Please find building permits here
Do I need a permit for a recreational fire?
There is no open burning within the city limits of Powers Lake. Barbeques and covered fire pits are allowed, except during burn bans. To check the burn ban status, please contact fire chief, Mark Douts - 701-641-3641.
Can I pay my water bill by credit card?
Credit card payments for wsg bills, dog licenses and RV park rent are accepted on the website.
Cemetery/Headstone Questions
The City of Powers Lake does not maintain/own any cemetery within/outside of city limits. All cemeteries are owned and maintained by individual churches.
