Landfill

The City has an inert landfill along the east edge of town which is open Wednedays from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to Noon during the months of May to September.

Landfill is for the use of city residents only. Non-residents should contact the Noonan or Stanley landfill.

Fees:
Grass/tree branches - Free
Pickup load/small trailer - $20-$50
Dump trailer/dump truck - $150-$400
Appliances - $20 each
Couches/Loveseats/recliners/mattresses - $10 each
Shingles - Outside city limits $700 / Inside city limits $150-$400
Fees are at the determined by the operator.

Restricted Items:
No plastic trash bags with household garbage!
No dead animals or medical/vet supplies
No pesticides
No batteries, tires, paint cans, aerosol cans, waste oil, or hazardous/flammable fluids.
No concrete

Please place materials in proper pile or pit!

Center pit - clean wood such as branches

Large Dumpster - building materials such as sheetrock, plaster, shingles and siding; Household items like recliners, couches, TVs, microwaves, computers.

Grass clippings pile - grass and yard waste (please removed plastic bags)

Metal/appliance pile - items that contain at least 70% metal and appliances such as washers, dryers, ranges.
